INDUSTRY
I began my career at Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, then taught film production at Cuenca University before returning to the United States to write and produce for Travel Channel, CourtTV (now TruTV) and Discovery Channel. My latest documentary project, Not Just a Game, screened in Austin, Frankfurt, Havana, London, New York, and Toronto.

ACADEMY
My scholarly writing focuses on the intersections of communication and inequality and has appeared in The Communication Review, International Journal of Communication, Advertising & Society Review, and Journal of Media Literacy Education.

WORK
I am Assistant Professor of Broadcast/Convergence in the Department of Communication and teach a combination of critical media studies and video production.
