Young Writers Institute“The Young Writer’s Institute” depicts the creative process as seen through the eyes of children participating in a summer poetry workshop. Fieldtrips inspire metaphors, teachers moderate revision groups, and the writing process culminates in a public reading. This video profiles a summer poetry workshop and was sent out to national foundations. It was originally inspired by my short Recipe for Joy.
